SURVEY TO PARENTS:
This survey was sent out to parents in all 52 states in the US and in Canada. Out of the 20,000 we approached, 96% said they would prefer to buy a product, especially a book, toy or game, if it had won an award and specifically, if it was displayed on the front cover/package. Additionally, they would prefer to choose to visit a website, listen to a specific Radio Program and/or watch a TV Show/Program or Movie, if it had won an award that came from REAL parents, such as the Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Award.
Out of those surveyed, 94% said that the name, "Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Award," was more meaningful and instantly inspired them to strongly consider purchasing a product, visit a website, listen to a specific Radio Program, watch a TV Show or Movie, that displayed this award over a similar one.

The second survey went out to the media. Out of 1,800 editors, reporters and journalists, 93% said that in 2006 and 2007 (and beyond), that they always looked, and will continue to do so, for award-winning products first when considering a pitch or plug for an item and/or for an article/interview about a product -- especially in books, games, toys, websites, Radio and TV Programs and Movies. Almost half of those who responded were indeed writers who focused on newspaper, magazine, Radio and TV Programs who recommended award-winning products and included Editor-in-Chief, Producers, and Editors themselves. This is astounding, amazing and priceless information in garnishing, securing and building even more of an impressive reputation with the media and potential buyers for your product.
With the combined survey results and recommendations from *others, it helped to finalize our plan to expand our award-winning site in offering an award for products in various categories. We also chose to move forward with a digital seal for winners. The finished product is just what we wanted and we are extremely proud to offer them to AWA winners.
